Up a bit earlier this morning. After brekkie we rode our bikes over to the scooter snorkelling place to check out the details of the tour we had booked for Thursday. From here we went to Ned’s beach then back to town and down to Arajilla (formerly Trader Vic’s where we stayed when we were here 40 years ago - it’s gone upmarket since those days).
We rode back to the lodge and decided that it would be too hard to ride our bikes with all our snorkelling gear back to Ned’s (around 5 k's) so we got the lodge to drive us over then pick us up an hour later. We did some snorkelling then walked along the beach - there were 100’s if not 1000’s of sooth terns nesting - many youngsters were hopping about.
Back at lodge it was again time for showers, gear washing, resting, reading and lazing away the rest of a perfect day - totally sunny and 23C but it felt warmer.
Dinner was diguestion menu and was excellent - we had to skip the final cheese course.
