We had breakfast just after 8am and finally sorted out the snorkelling trip we had asked the lodge to book before we arrived. It was only scheduled to start at 11:30am - these trips are tide dependent. It started out as a clear and sunny day - the winds of Saturday had died down - temps were in the low 20’s but it seemed warmer.
We did the snorkelling boat trip - it was mainly sunny and a bit choppy. The snorkelling was amazing - much better than anticipated but after the first 1 hour snorkel in 21C water we were getting a bit cold even with full wet suits on. There was a second stop where we only stayed in the water for 20-30 minutes.
We got back to the lodge around 2pm and after showering etc took a bit of a lazy rest of the day - resting and reading.
Dinner was the usual arrangement - happy hour from 6 then dinner from 7pm onwards. The food was excellent again - king fish for me and venison for Dieter - shared cheese plate for dessert which we did not need - too full. Off to bed just after 9pm.
