This is the story of our trip to Alaska in June 2012 - it all started with a 4 day stop in Seattle then onto Ketchikan for the start of a 7-day adventure cruise on board the 60 passenger InnerSeas Discovery ship, the Wilderness Discoverer. From Juneau we traveled to various other places in Alaska by plane and car, taking scenic flights and day boat trips.

- May 28: SYD-YVR on AC then onto Seattle by bus
- June 1: SEA-KTN on Alaska Air then overnight in Ketchikan
- June 2-9: cruise Ketchikan to Juneau
- June 9-10: Best Western Country Inn in Juneau
- June 10: fly Ketchikan to Glacier Bay
- June 10-12: Glacier Bay Lodge
- June 12: fly Glacier Bay to Anchorage via Juneau
- June 12: overnight in Anchorage at the Sheraton
- June 13: drive to Denali
- June 13-15: Denali Bluffs Hotel
- June 15: drive to Talkeetna
- June 15-17: Talkeetna Lodge
- June 17: drive to Seward
- June 17-19: Holiday Inn Seward
- June 19-21: Orca Cabins (Island 1 hour off Seward)
- June 21: drive to Homer
- June 21-25: Lands End Resort in Homer
- June 25: drive to Anchorage overnight at the Sheraton
- June 26: ANC-YVR
- June 26-27: Club Intrawest in Vancouver
- June 27: YVR-SYD on AC
